		<description>Chicken, I&#039;m not sure if your question is tongue in cheek or not, but I have had people ask me seriously what a &quot;Ute&quot; is.  Utah is named after the Ute Indian tribe, so it is an Indian tribe, much like the Seminoles, the Navajo, or the Illini.  Unlike Florida State, we don&#039;t have someone dress up as an Indian for our mascot.  Instead, we have a hawk, named Swoop.  The Ute tribe supports the use of the name and logo, so it appears we won&#039;t have to change it like some other schools have had to (like St John&#039;s Redmen is now the Red Wave.)</description>
