People have always seemed to be drawn to her for advice on problems, sort of like Dr. Phil. My dad calls her a shrink without a degree. :) I would say that my mom is a liberal Mormon who is conservative when she needs to be. She's hip, and yet she can be old-fashioned. She's also very open-minded. She is the rock of our family.
